September 2014 Meeting

Committee's Challenge -  Hexagons

Margaret's hexagon blocks bought from Auckland Quilt Guild sales table, many of them still with old newspapers (with old ads.) etc. in the back of the hexagons

Elria – large hexagons done in Kaffe fabrics, nice back

Jan  – very pastel hexagons on pink.  Gave it to her husband’s aunt, told her to use it and not to worry if the cats slept on it as they would love it.  When she died, aged 90, Jan discovered the quilt folded up in a drawer, never used.  Jan took it back home.
